Why making your own smoothies at home is healthier

This is a great article that was written by Kim Conte.  She explains some of the 5 worst smoothies for your diet.  It's much better to make your own smoothies at home.  I have recipes on my Facebook page and this blog.  If you want more low cal recipes I can get them for you!  Make sure to click this link to read the article.  You will be shocked!

  1. I have obtained a few smoothie recipes that are made with kefir, fruit & agave. (229 calories) and another with Kiwi, light coconut milk, chunk of pineapple & agave. (121 calories) And they are good! Plus they are low glycemic load which is good since I have type II diabetes. Since my downfall is ice cream, I am also trying out a recipe tonight of frozen banana, cocoa, agave & skim milk. (need a food processor for this) I will let you know if this will suffice as a substite! (82 calories)
Thanks for sharing the info on the smoothies!
